BL3 Family – What inspired it ….
The BL3 family was born from the need for a truly modular and industrial backlight solution — one that combines performance, flexibility, and ease of installation.
In many machine vision applications, engineers require lighting systems that can be scaled up to large dimensions without compromising uniformity or reliability. The BL3 series meets this challenge, offering configurations up to 500 x 500 mm while maintaining excellent light homogeneity and mechanical stability.
The design features an aluminum side profile with an integrated mounting slot, allowing the illuminator to be fixed quickly and securely in any position. This mounting concept drastically reduces installation time and simplifies integration into inspection systems or custom machines.
Internally, the LED control circuitry has been optimized to allow direct operation from a 24 V industrial power supply — no external driver required. This plug-and-play approach ensures fast commissioning and reliable long-term operation.

- High Density LED Matrix
The BL3 backlight is built using an advanced assembly process that guarantees exceptional light uniformity and stability. A high-density LED matrix, combined with precision-molded integrated lenses, produces a direct and perfectly homogeneous illumination across the entire surface. Each LED is positioned using a dedicated alignment mask that maintains exact spacing and consistency throughout the panel. - Side profile with mounting slot
The side profile is equipped with an integrated mounting slot that allows the insertion of sliding nuts or brackets. This design enables quick and flexible installation of the illuminator, allowing users to freely choose the most convenient position for the mounting points. - Aluminum enclosure
Black anodized aluminum enclsure. The use of aluminum ensures high heat dissipation from the LEDs and excellent mechanical robustness. - Reverse polarity protection
The internal circuits are protected against reverse polarity of the supply voltage. The protection intervenes in the event of incorrect connection of the power cables. - HTTM© Technology
Using HTTM technology for high heat dissipation of LEDs. A special layer of material is used inside the illuminator for contact between the LEDs and the housing. - RCCR© Internal Current Source Driver
The BL3 series illuminators incorporate a LED current stabilizing circuit for improved homogeneity of the emitted light. The RCCR© current driver achieves optimal control of the current in the LED and a consequent improvement in the homogeneity characteristics of the emitted light. - 48H Test Certificate
Each illuminator is subjected to a 48-hour test cycle and a test certificate is issued with the product. This procedure guarantees a high quality of the product delivered to the customer. - Industrial connector
Threaded connector for easy assembly and quick disconnection for maintenance. A flexible cable gland fixes the cable to ensure a small bending radius. - Industrial design
We design the entire BL3 family for industrial use on vision systems or optical test benches. The target customer for this product family is the industrial machine builder or vision system integrator.
