High brightness in a small space: The BL5 series is a high-density, high-brightness LED matrix. The BL4 series illuminators are used in confined spaces where high-intensity direct illumination is required. The BL5 series is designed for system integrators and OEMs who need to integrate the illuminator into a machine or custom fixture.
RCCR© current driver : The BL5 illuminator series integrates the RCCR© (RODER Constant Current Regulator) current driver that stabilizes and equalizes the current in each LED of the matrix. This provides a high uniformity of light emission and stabilizes the LED current even with small variations in the supply voltage. Unlike traditional technologies, the RCCR© current driver achieves optimal control of the current in the LED and a consequent improvement in the homogeneity characteristics of the emitted light.
HTTM© technology : using HTTM© (High Thermal Transmission Material) technology to dissipate the heat generated by the LEDs. Proper heat dissipation allows the light sources and control electronics to maintain optimal working conditions. A special layer of material is used inside the illuminator for contact between the LEDs and the housing. In this way, the temperature of the LEDs is kept constant, the brightness is stable over time and the LED has a longer service life.

Do you want help choosing the product?
Why choose a BL5 family illuminator?

- High density LED matrix
High density LED matrix with integrated lens to create a direct and homogeneous light beam. The LED matrix is kept regular by a special fixing mask that ensures uniformity of the LED mounting spacing. - Industrial connector
Threaded connector for easy assembly and quick disconnection for maintenance. The cable is fixed by a flexible cable gland to ensure a small bending radius. - Aluminum casing
Black anodized aluminum casing. The use of aluminum ensures high heat dissipation from the LEDs and excellent mechanical robustness. - Reverse polarity protection
The internal circuits are protected against reverse polarity of the supply voltage. The protection intervenes in the event of incorrect connection of the power cables. - Highly efficient and high intensity LEDs
Using the latest generation of high brightness and low power LEDs. The LEDs used in the DL1 series have an integrated lens, have cutting-edge features and are produced by the largest LED manufacturer in the world. - HTTM© Technology
Using HTTM technology for high heat dissipation of LEDs. A special layer of material is used inside the illuminator for contact between the LEDs and the housing. - RCCR© Internal Current Source Driver
The DL1 series illuminators incorporate a LED current stabilizing circuit for improved homogeneity of the emitted light. The RCCR© current driver achieves optimal control of the current in the LED and a consequent improvement in the homogeneity characteristics of the emitted light. - 48H Test Certificate
Each illuminator is subjected to a 48-hour test cycle and a test certificate is issued with the product. This procedure guarantees a high quality of the product delivered to the customer. - Industrial design
The entire BL5 family is designed for industrial use on vision systems or optical test benches. The target customer for this product family is the industrial machine builder or vision system integrator.
