Technical support to choose the right product

The DC2 Series low-angle LED ring lights are expertly engineered to provide concentrated 360-degree illumination for precision machine vision applications. Designed specifically for small pick-and-place machines and detailed surface inspections, these units deliver a highly uniform light beam that efficiently highlights topographic features and edge details.

To ensure optimal optical alignment, the housing is machined from a single solid block of aluminum. This rugged architecture guarantees exceptional mechanical rigidity and allows for rapid installation using the integrated lateral mounting tabs, completely eliminating the need for bulky external brackets.

Furthermore, the unit operates without an internal driver, offering total control through an external controller. This enables seamless integration of continuous, PWM, and high-speed overdrive modes. Combined with advanced HTTM thermal management, the DC2 Series provides system integrators with a highly reliable, compact, and thermally stable lighting solution.

The catalog for this series of illuminators is currently being revised and updated.

  1. High Density LED Matrix
High density LED matrix with integrated lens to create a direct and homogeneous light beam. The LED matrix is kept regular by a special fixing mask that ensures uniformity of the LED mounting spacing. The LEDs used are selected from the same color bin and luminous intensity group, ensuring a light beam that is both uniform and chromatically stable..
  2. Industrial connector
Threaded connector for easy assembly and quick disconnection for maintenance. A flexible cable gland fixes the cable to ensure a small bending radius.
  3. Aluminum enclosure
Black anodized aluminum enclsure. The use of aluminum ensures high heat dissipation from the LEDs and excellent mechanical robustness.
  4. Reverse polarity protection
The internal circuits are protected against reverse polarity of the supply voltage. The protection intervenes in the event of incorrect connection of the power cables.
  5. Highly efficient and high intensity LEDs
Using the latest generation of high brightness and low power LEDs. The LEDs used in the DL1 series have an integrated lens, have cutting-edge features and are produced by the largest LED manufacturer in the world.
  6. HTTM© Technology
Using HTTM technology for high heat dissipation of LEDs. A special layer of material is used inside the illuminator for contact between the LEDs and the housing.
  7. RCCR© Internal Current Source Driver
The DL1 series illuminators incorporate a LED current stabilizing circuit for improved homogeneity of the emitted light. The RCCR© current driver achieves optimal control of the current in the LED and a consequent improvement in the homogeneity characteristics of the emitted light.
  8. 48H Test Certificate
Each illuminator is subjected to a 48-hour test cycle and a test certificate is issued with the product. This procedure guarantees a high quality of the product delivered to the customer.
  9. Industrial design
We design the entire DC2 family for industrial use on vision systems or optical test benches. The target customer for this product family is the industrial machine builder or vision system integrator.
